The #1 thing that makes or breaks a trading card is photo quality. Action shots from the stands almost always come out blurry or at the wrong angle — even with a decent phone camera.
Here's what works best:
- →Surprise shoot: Tell the team it's a "uniform check" or team photo day — get clean individual shots before they know what it's for.
- →Recruit a photo parent: Ask a parent with a DSLR or newer iPhone to grab individual shots during warm-ups — good lighting, in-uniform, close-up.
